Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to steer secure cloud platforms for a Federal Government client in Canberra. This full-time role requires AGSVA NV1 clearance and expert cloud engineering leadership.

You will guide engineering standards, manage risk, and drive automation while coordinating with delivery, operations, and client stakeholders to sustain high availability and security across the platform.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical leader with cloud expertise and strong people leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Cloud Engineers team and a Java Developer, providing technical direction.
• Own reliability, availability, performance, and security of cloud platforms ensuring SLAs and compliance.
• Design scalable, resilient Azure cloud solutions including PROTECTED environments.
• Drive automation using IaC and CI/CD pipelines across deployments and operations.
• Identify and remediate platform risks to prevent incidents and support incident response.
• Provide technical leadership during incidents with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee monitoring and observability using cloud-native tools.
• Collaborate with delivery and operations to improve capability and cost efficiency.
