You’ll work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders, while also being comfortable owning work independently and driving outcomes with minimal guidance.

Benefits
  • Competitive remuneration + bonus + medical insurance
  • Fitness passport discount – access to a network of gyms across AUS
  • Employee discounts with a number of affiliates (travel, car hire, tech, medical insurance)
  • Modernised paid parental leave
  • Veterans leave
  • Novated lease options
  • Family support through our partnership with Parents at Work
  • Personal & professional training development opportunities
Key Activities and Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Azure cloud solutions aligned to project requirements, security, and operational standards.
  • Deliver new cloud deployments (greenfield) including network, identity, compute, storage, and platform services.
  • Plan and execute migrations from on‑premises environments to Azure (rehost/refactor/replatform where appropriate).
  • Support new and existing application workloads deployed in Azure: monitoring, alerting, incident response, and problem management.
  • Build and maintain reliable, scalable, and cost‑aware cloud environments.
  • Implement and support Microsoft Entra ID capabilities including identity lifecycle, RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, and privileged access patterns.
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft Defender for Cloud including security posture management, policy recommendations, regulatory/compliance reporting, and workload protections where applicable.
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) and reusable templates/patterns (e.g., Terraform, Bicep/ARM).
  • Implement automated deployment pipelines and release processes (e.g., Gitlab, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Implement and maintain backup, DR, patching, and configuration management practices.
  • Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and service issues across cloud components.
  • Produce clear documentation and handover materials for operational teams.
Key Knowledge and Experience
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Azure cloud computing
  • Solid knowledge across common Azure services (e.g., VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VMs, Storage, Key Vault, Monitor/Log Analytics).
  • Azure Landing Zones / CAF patterns, governance (Policy), and management groups/subscriptions design
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, including secure access controls and identity governance practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting capability across networking, identity, compute, and platform services.
  • Proficiency in server operating systems (Windows Server or Linux)
  • Strong interpersonal skills coupled with a demonstrated customer service commitment and the ability to prioritise competing demand
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Collaborate effectively with other IT personnel to optimise system performance, facilitate changes to our IT landscape, and implement new technologies that align with organisational goals and enhance resident capabilities.
  • High attention to detail
  • Commitment to OH&S and EEO principles
