Job summary

Bridge IT Engineering is seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to support a Federal Government department in Canberra. The role focuses on Microsoft Azure application migrations and shaping the Foundry-based data and analytics platform, with an eye on AI capabilities.

You will join the Enterprise Architecture team to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions and guide the transition into business-as-usual operations, reporting to senior stakeholders and conforming to Commonwealth

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex cloud or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong Microsoft Azure architecture and enterprise cloud design experience.
• Active NV1 Security Clearance is required.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and gain endorsement through governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable cloud solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Support application migrations and transition into operational environments.
• Develop architectural documentation and implementation guidance.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements.
• Provide architectural leadership and oversee delivery teams.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise governance, security, and Commonwealth requirements.
• Identify architectural risks and dependencies in cloud transformation projects.
• Drive Azure-based data, integration and analytics platform initiatives.
