Job summary

Softtest Pays Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Application Architect / Technical Lead to modernise FullCAM into a scalable Azure cloud-native platform. You will bridge architecture and engineering, providing hands-on leadership across C#/.NET services, APIs and data workflows while guiding teams through modernisation efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience translating high-level architecture into detailed application designs for Azure cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on technical leadership across architecture, design, and implementation with mentoring responsibilities.
• Strong background in C#/.NET services, APIs, and data workflows (Python) within cloud platforms.
• Security, compliance and DevOps practices including CI/CD and automated deployments.

Responsibilities

• Validate and refine designs derived from Solution Architect direction, ensuring alignment with platform architecture.
• Translate architecture into implementable application designs for Azure cloud-native environments.
• Lead by example through code reviews and mentorship across the development team.
• Support integration and refactoring of legacy C++ components into modern cloud-native architectures.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to align data pipelines and analytics with warehousing principles.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of deployed services across the stack.
• Promote DevOps practices and maintain effective CI/CD pipelines.
