Job summary

Tardis Group is seeking a Senior AI / MLOps Engineer in Western Australia to design, build and operate production-grade AI platforms on Microsoft Azure. This is a 6-month contract with hybrid Perth-based arrangement, and candidates must be based in WA.

You will design reusable CI/CD pipelines for ML models and AI agents, establish MLOps/LLMOps frameworks with model registries and automated evaluations, and implement comprehensive monitoring using Azure tools.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade ML platforms on Azure.
• Strong Python development and API integration experience.
• Expertise in MLOps/LLMOps, including data/versioning, training, validation and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with RAG pipelines and AI agent deployments.
• Background in securing cloud platforms with Entra ID and Key Vault.
• Ability to document and transfer knowledge to engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable CI/CD pipelines for ML models, LLM apps, and AI agents on Azure.
• Establish production-grade MLOps and LLMOps frameworks, including experiment tracking and model registries.
• Build monitoring, logging, and tracing using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Embed DevSecOps practices across the platform, including security scanning and Entra ID management.
• Deploy and manage RAG and data ingestion pipelines with versioning and failure monitoring.
• Conduct load, failure, and recovery testing to validate platform readiness.
• Create reusable pipeline templates, technical documentation, and practical guidance for internal teams.
• Work in a consulting environment, sharing engineering practices across AI initiatives.
