Job summary

SKL Technology is seeking an experienced Microservices & AI Technical Lead to drive architecture for a major business transformation in Sydney. You will lead cloud-native, microservices-based platforms and guide AI-enabled engineering practices across delivery lifecycles.

The role requires deep Azure expertise, hands-on modern engineering practices, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Azure & cloud engineering experience.
• Experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Demonstrated AI/ML-enabled software delivery experience.
• Strong SDLC, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability practices.
• Proven leadership in large technology transformations.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural authority for cloud-native, microservices-based platforms.
• Lead AI-enabled delivery practices across the SDLC and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Drive modernisation, platform adoption, and reusable architectural patterns.
• Build capability through knowledge transfer and engineering governance.
• Influence senior stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.
