Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an Axway API Gateway Specialist to design, develop, and deploy APIs using Axway API Gateway. The role focuses on securing APIs with OAuth2.0, OIDC, TLS/MTLS, and JWT, and on building robust policy-driven interfaces.

You will configure routing, transformations, and policy enforcement, develop REST and SOAP services, integrate with backend systems, and monitor gateway performance with proactive troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Experience designing APIs with Axway API Gateway.
• Ability to implement API security policies including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, TLS/MTLS and JWT.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP services and API policy configuration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy APIs using Axway API Gateway.
• Implement API security policies including OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, TLS/MTLS, JWT.
• Configure and manage API policies, routing rules, and transformations.
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP services; integrate gateway with backend systems.
• Perform traffic management, throttling, and rate limiting; monitor and troubleshoot gateway issues.
