Job summary

Unleash Live Pty Ltd. is seeking an innovative AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure for our computer vision and live data analytics platform.

The role focuses on automation, continuous delivery, and infrastructure-as-code to ensure resilient, secure, and performant systems on AWS. You will work with engineers and domain experts to ship end-to-end workflows, from asset monitoring to alerting, with occasional domestic travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role
• Terraform and AWS CloudFormation proficiency
• Deep knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS)
• Docker and orchestration (ECS) experience
• Scripting in Python and Bash; familiarity with application code
• Strong Linux system administration
• Networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls
• Nice to have: AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional or Solutions Architect – Professional
• Experience with Ansible or Chef
• Familiarity with serverless architecture components

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure
• Implement and maintain IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines with CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy or GitHub Actions
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
• Ensure security best practices across infrastructure (IAM, Security Groups, compliance)
• Monitor and optimize AWS costs and resource usage
• Collaborate with development teams for smooth deployment and operation

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will champion automation, continuous delivery, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles to ensure our systems are resilient, secure, and performant. You'll work with engineers, designers, and domain experts to ship end-to-end workflows that feel seamless and deliver measurable impact, from asset monitoring to ad hoc inspections and alerting.
