Job summary

FinXL Professional Services Pty is seeking an AWS Architect to join our consulting team and support a leading Banking client on a 12-month contract in Sydney CBD. The role demands hands-on architecture leadership with cloud-first data pipelines and security focus.

Hybrid work with a mix of in-office and remote engagement, collaborating with engineering teams and stakeholders to shape reference architectures across SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS. 8+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on architecture experience.
• Experience designing data-heavy pipelines and cloud-native, API-first products.
• Strong experience designing AWS solutions using SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS.
• Knowledge of solution and data architecture frameworks, modelling tools, and data security.
• Understanding of big data products, data pipelines, and API interactions with social channels.

Responsibilities

FinXL is seeking an AWS Architect to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a 12 months contract in Sydney CBD.

Responsibilities

• Build and design end to end solutions on AWS cloud offerings


• Collaborate actively with engineering teams to prototype solutions and validate architecture decisions


• Automate technical processes and drive business solutions with a focus on bank-wide reference architecture


• Engage diligently with stakeholders at all levels to communicate architectural vision and direction

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive background as a hands-on Architect with 8+ years of experience


• Proven experience designing and solutioning data-heavy pipelines and cloud-native, API-first products


• Strong experience designing AWS solutions leveraging a mix of SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS cloud offerings


• Deep knowledge of solution and data architecture frameworks, modelling tools, and data security


• Solid understanding of big data products, data pipelines, and API interaction with social channels


• Excellent business acumen with the ability to manage requirements across diverse project teams

Engagement Details

• 12 months contract with a Banking client


• Hybrid working model with 3 days/ week in the office in Sydney CBD
