Job summary

CHC Helicopters Australia is seeking suitably qualified pilots for an AW139 Copilot position based in Nowra, NSW, supporting the RAAF SAR contract with some touring as required. Applicants should hold CPL(H), ATPL (H) eligibility, AW139 rating, Low Level Rating and SAR/EMS experience.

Candidates must be able to obtain CASA Class 1 Medical and ASIC and meet Australian work rights. We value strong teamwork, safety, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Valid CPL(H) license required.
• Helicopter Instrument Rating required.
• Minimum 500 flying hours (H) required.
• Minimum 100 multi-engine hours (H) required.
• Minimum 100 flying hours Pilot-In-Command (PIC) required.
• Ability to obtain CASA Class 1 Medical and ASIC.
• ATPL (H) preferred.
• AW139 type rating preferred.
• Low Level Rating preferred.
• Previous SAR/EMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role is AW139 Copilot supporting the RAAF SAR contract from Nowra, NSW.
• Onshore Operations with some touring as required.
