Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking qualified AW139 Helicopter Pilots to join the Aviation & Critical Services team for Queensland Health operations based on Horn Island, Queensland. This touring role requires pilots to operate on a 15 days on / 13 days off roster, delivering aeromedical transport and emergency service missions across Far North Queensland.

Essential qualifications include AW139 Type Rating with 100+ hours command, CASA CPL(H) (ATPL(H) preferred), current Class 1 Medical, and

Qualifications

• AW139 Type Rating
• 100+ hours command on AW139
• CASA CPL(H) (ATPL(H) preferred)
• Current Class 1 Medical
• Instrument Rating with MEH endorsement
• Minimum 2,500 hours total helicopter time
• Minimum 1,500 hours PIC helicopter
• Minimum 1,200 hours turbine helicopter time
• Minimum 100 hours night PIC
• NVIS Rating
• Low Level Rating with Winch Endorsement
• B412 Type Rating with 100+ hours command
• H145 Type Rating with 100+ hours command

Responsibilities

• Operate AW139 helicopters in aeromedical and emergency service missions.
• Follow 15/13 touring roster with 15 days on, 13 days off.
• Support operations across Far North Queensland and Torres Strait as required.
• Adhere to CASA regulations and company policies.
