Job summary

Saicon is seeking an engineer to design, validate, and document avionics test racks and harnessing for aerospace applications. The role focuses on calibration, EMI/EMC compliance, grounding and power distribution, and collaboration with software teams on automation.

Travel and field deployment are expected, with time split between office, home office, and customer sites. A strong background in electrical avionics and hands-on testing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or avionics engineering.
• 5+ years aerospace/avionics test equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate avionics/electrical test racks and harnessing.
• Conduct calibration, noise testing, and compliance checks (MIL-STD-461, DO-160).
• Validate rack instrumentation, grounding, shielding, and power distribution.
• Support rack integration, trial runs, and troubleshooting.
• Document test rack validation procedures and results.
• Interface with customers for acceptance testing.
