Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics to support the Chinook ISR program at RAAF Base Townsville. You will maintain and troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems on the CH-47F Chinook, working with the Australian Defence Force to ensure readiness.

Role requires DASR Part 66 MAML – B2 with CH47F rating and the ability to supervise AMEs, mentoring junior technicians. NV1 security clearance expected.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) required.
• DASR Part 66 MAML – B2 with CH-47F type rating preferred.
• Experience as maintenance certifier / trade supervisor beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, modify, service, inspect, test and troubleshoot aircraft systems and components.
• Certify maintenance activities per AMD and AMO authorisations.
• Supervise other AMEs and mentor junior technicians.
