Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) invites skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join the CH-47F (Chinook) Maintenance and Logistics Support Program at Oakey, Queensland. You will perform hands‑on maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections and fault‑finding on aircraft systems in a demanding, safety‑critical environment.

Applicants must hold Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical), be an Australian citizen, and possess a current driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Certification in Aeroskills (Mechanical) required.
• Australian citizenship required to meet Defence security requirements.
• Current driver’s licence required.
• CASA or DASA licence desirable.
• Experience with Military aircraft desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, servicing and fault‑finding on aircraft systems.
• Collaborate with MRO team to ensure efficient task completion.
• Ensure QA procedures and documentation comply with MOE requirements.
• Maintain meticulous records and conform to environmental health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with Boeing, customers and industry teams.
