Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an Electrical/Avionics Engineer to join the C-17 Globemaster III sustainment and support team at RAAF Base Amberley. You will work with the ADF to sustain and enhance the C-17 capability and integrate new software and avionics modifications into the aircraft and sustainment system.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering with at least 2 years in avionics, aviation experience, and strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in related fields is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years avionics engineering experience.
• Experience in aviation environment and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the ADF to sustain and enhance the C-17 capability.
• Integrate new software and avionics modifications into the C-17 and sustainment system.
• Develop software and avionics verification and certification programs.
• Assess compatibility for carriage and operation of new aircraft equipment.
• Provide assessments for hazard management relating to aviation software and avionics.
