Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Design Verification Engineer to verify electrical functions of high-performance communication systems for avionics. You will develop Python-based test software, interact with lab equipment, run automated tests, and generate comprehensive reports.

You will collaborate with PCBA, harness, FPGA, embedded SW, and system engineers in a fast-paced team. Expect high autonomy and problem-solving at scale.

Qualifications

• Prototyping and implementation experience.
• 3+ years in board-level design verification for aerospace/automotive/consumer electronics.
• 3+ years developing requirements, plans and procedures for product design verification.
• 3+ years of design verification of high-speed interfaces, signal integrity and protocol compliance.
• 3+ years using standard electronic lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters).
• Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Automated Functional Testing: develop sequences for automated functional checkout tests on proprietary hardware.
• Data Analysis: analyze test data, compare against pass/fail criteria, extract insights.
• Report Generation: create detailed test reports with pass/fail status.
• Conduct test readiness reviews and align with stakeholders on data review activities.
• Influence test strategy by helping define system test requirements.
• Maintain requirements traceability during testing and resolve integration/test problems.
