Job summary
Aviation Australia is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) to become an Instructor - Delivery and Assessment in Townsville on a full-time basis. You will lead theory and practical instruction, focusing on avionic digital systems and rotary-wing maintenance for students and stakeholders.
Ideal candidates have hands-on rotary-wing experience and a CASA/B2 licence; training or Assessment qualifications are welcome to pursue.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated practical rotary-wing aircraft maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of avionic digital systems and components.
- A current CASA or DASR B2 Licence is preferred; suitably qualified unlicensed avionics engineers are encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to learn, grow and obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a small, close-knit team.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and strong organisation skills.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for aviation.
Responsibilities
- Lead theory and practical instruction within your trade stream.
- Instruct and assess students and contribute to learning outcomes.
- Provide support to students and stakeholders throughout training.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high-quality aviation program.
