Job summary

Jet Aviation at RAAF Base Pearce is seeking a Technical Trainer to lead training programs for the aviation technical workforce. The role focuses on implementing training systems, ensuring compliance with DASR 145 and EASA 145, and supporting audits with customers and authorities.

Reporting to the Senior Manager P147 Training, you will shape the annual training plan, manage budgets, and mentor staff to maintain high competency across sustainment programs.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in Aircraft Line Maintenance, MEA20518.
• Ability to undertake training through an OEM-endorsed organisation.
• Ability to attain and maintain security clearance for work at RAAF Base Pearce.
• Knowledge of OH&S and environmental requirements.
• Basic English language skills and good communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer and develop training systems to support compliance with BWC Contract and EASA 145 requirements.
• Provide direction and guidance to staff regarding training, competency and compliance.
• Develop training budget forecasts and execute the annual training plan within budget.
• Maintain a documented program for reassessment of authorised personnel.
• Prepare monthly management reports on workforce training and competency levels.
• Facilitate audits by regulatory authorities, customers and third parties.
