Job summary

Airservices Australia is a government-owned organisation delivering essential aviation safety and training services across Australia. The role focuses on leading the design, development and implementation of competency-based technical training solutions for the I-ATS program.

You will conduct training needs analyses, develop materials and assessments, and coordinate delivery to meet regulatory and operational requirements, with travel to national sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' recent experience in training delivery within the aviation industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of CASR, particularly Part 171.
• Experience developing and delivering competency-based training and assessment solutions.
• Experience undertaking Training Needs Analyses and developing structured learning programs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment with competing priorities.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification.
• A relevant Diploma qualification (or higher) and demonstrated experience within technology, engineering or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement competency-based technical training solutions for the I-ATS program.
• Conduct training needs analyses and develop learning and assessment materials.
• Coordinate training delivery activities and ensure regulatory and operational compliance.
• Collaborate with technical experts, operational teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to a national technology transformation program and build capability for air traffic management.
