Job summary

Rex Airlines invites applications for a Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist based in Mascot, Sydney. You will manage day-to-day social channels, create engaging content, and support integrated marketing campaigns for a well-known Australian brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in social media and/ or digital marketing.
• Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organisation.
• Experience filming and editing short-form social media content.
• Strong writing, editing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Suite.
• Understanding of social media analytics and campaign performance.
• Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritise workloads, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage social media content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and X.
• Film, create and edit social media content, including short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Stories).
• Write engaging captions and social copy aligned to the Rex brand.
• Manage community engagement and monitor relevant trends.
• Track performance and use insights to continuously improve content and engagement.
• Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across Rex's marketing channels.
• Build and schedule EDM communications as required.
• Assist with paid social campaigns in Meta and TikTok Ads Manager.
• Coordinate campaign assets with internal teams and external partners.
• Contribute to campaign reporting and performance analysis.
• Provide marketing support across other campaign activity.
