Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with aircraft maintenance processes and documentation, including approved maintenance data, maintenance records and compliance checks. Ability to draft manuals.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical and regulatory information.
• Relevant qualifications in aviation, engineering, or a related field; industry certifications or audit training are an advantage.
• Proficiency with standard office software and the ability to learn aviation-specific systems and tools.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams, managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a hybrid work environment. Willing to adapt.

Responsibilities

• Auditing, staff authorisation control, management system control, authoring and revising organisation manuals (MOE, SMS, various procedure manuals etc).
• Coordinating with internal teams and external customers to clarify requirements, address findings, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintaining accurate records, contributing to process improvements, and ensuring quality management practices align with regulatory and organisational standards.
• Regular communication with stakeholders, structured reporting, and adherence to safety and compliance procedures.

Role Description: The Aviation Quality role would be a full-time hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility for some work from home.
