Vanderlande Industries GmbH is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electrical or Mechanical) based at Sydney International Airport to join our on-site service team. The role involves preventative and corrective maintenance on advanced baggage handling systems and automated storage equipment, working a 12-hour shift roster on a 24/7 basis.

The ideal candidate has a trade qualification with Cert III in electrotechnology or mechanical engineering, 3–5 years of field experience, and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Australian Trade qualification with Cert III in Electrotechnology or Engineering Mechanical.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience as Service Engineer/Technician.
• Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical) highly regarded.
• Industrial controls knowledge (PLC, VFD, HMI, SCADA) a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on baggage handling systems and automated storage/transport equipment.
• Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Operate within a 12-hour shift on a 24/7 roster at Sydney Airport.
