Job summary

dnata catering in Brisbane Airport is seeking a stock management professional to join our high-performing team as a Unit Logistics Officer at our Flight Catering unit in Brisbane Airport – full-time.

You will monitor domestic and international airline stock and equipment levels, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sufficient stock is available to meet daily demand. The role includes leadership of a small warehouse team, ERP use, and planning for peak periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, production processes, and warehousing.
• Aviation knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel with strong documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Clear National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily stock reviews, replenishments, and internal distribution.
• Report and handle damaged or de-listed stock per ABF regulations.
• Coordinate stock deliveries from offsite warehouses and airline customers.
• Maintain documentation for customs audits and compliance.
• Monitor stock expiry/date codes and report timely.
• Plan/forecast equipment and stock at kitchens and 3PL locations incl weekends/holidays.
• Support scheduled airline audits and action follow-up.
• Operate the ERP system with accurate data entry.
• Lead a small warehouse team and ensure tasks are completed.
• Maintain and optimise dnata’s internal delivery system.
