Job summary

Qantas Airways in Mascot, Sydney seeks a Project Coordinator to support high-impact engineering projects across the fleet. You’ll coordinate schedules, governance, and deliverables to keep major programs on track.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll prepare reports, manage documentation, onboard contractors, and collaborate with engineers and senior stakeholders to drive reliability and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience supporting projects in a large, complex organisation.

Responsibilities

• Support project governance through accurate and timely reporting, documentation control and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate project schedules, action items, risk logs and resource plans, ensuring key activities remain on track.
• Assist with preparing project communication materials, presentations and status updates for senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and ensure follow‑up actions are completed.
• Provide administrative and technical support across engineering project teams, including onboarding contractors and supporting process set‑ups.
• Champion standardisation, continuous improvement and consistent project practices across the engineering program environment.
