Perth Airport is seeking a highly analytical Aviation Data & Research Analyst to join the Aviation Business Development team. You will leverage data-driven insights to support strategic growth, increase passenger traffic and revenue, and transform intelligence into actionable strategies that enhance performance.

Responsibilities include managing aviation datasets, assessing airline performance, forecasting, building business cases, and presenting insights to stakeholders.

Formación

• Tertiary qualifications in data analysis, finance, marketing, or business intelligence with substantial post-qualification experience.
• Experience in market and industry research methodologies, ideally in management consulting or aviation.
• Strong expertise in data analysis and modelling, including financial forecasting.
• Proven ability to develop and present compelling business cases.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong presentation skills.
• Ability to translate and communicate complex information clearly.
• Naturally inquisitive with a passion for uncovering insights through data.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and analyse aviation datasets; maintain a centralised intelligence platform and brief on industry activity.
• Assess airline performance to inform route and capacity decisions.
• Conduct industry and market research; surface new leads.
• Build and validate long-term passenger forecasts with consultants and finance teams.
• Develop robust business cases and feasibility analyses for new routes and pricing.
• Provide clear reports and insights to stakeholders; contribute to ABD strategy stand-ups.
• Input into airline incentive models and budgeting; collaborate with finance on accruals.
• Benchmark best practices across airports and publish regular opportunities/risks reports.
• Own and optimise ABD data systems; run queries and modelling for projects.
• Support Aeronautical Services Agreements and pricing options.
