Job summary

Sigma Aerospace Workforce is seeking a hands-on Accountant (Aviation) to join the Sunshine Coast operation. You will work closely with the CFO and leadership team across multi-company aviation services, delivering monthly reporting, stock and inventory accounting, and robust financial controls.

Responsibilities include month-end and year-end reporting, group consolidations, multi-currency accounting, budgeting and variance analysis, with exposure to ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification accounting experience, with strong hands-on stock and inventory accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and conduct GL reconciliations.
• Perform month-end and year-end reporting and group consolidations.
• Manage multi-currency reporting, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Oversee stock, inventory accounting and fixed assets.
• Support audits, implement financial controls and process improvements.
