Job summary

Westwell is seeking a hands-on Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our on-site Brisbane operations team. You will support maintenance and servicing of autonomous vehicles, working outdoors in a shifting roster to keep the fleet operational and safe.

You will diagnose, repair, and inspect mechanical and electrical systems, maintain records, and comply with site safety and access requirements, collaborating with operations and engineering as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle maintenance or automotive servicing.
• Current Australian driver's license (Queensland preferred).
• Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour shift roster (day and night).
• Outdoor on-site work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on autonomous vehicles and related mechanical/electrical systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot faults in vehicle hardware and basic wiring/electrical components.
• Follow safety protocols and site rules while on-site.
• Collaborate with operations/engineering teams to report issues and support uptime.
• Maintain accurate service records and report recurring technical problems.
