Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Software Engineer to advance automation and testing environments for the MQ-28 program in Brisbane. You will contribute to digital model ecosystems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions for autonomous, uncrewed aircraft.

The role requires at least 2 years in relevant fields, expertise in Python and Linux, and a proactive, problem-solving approach within Agile processes.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of industry experience in autonomous systems, robotics or related applications.
Experience with messaging protocols, data exchange, data analysis and simulation tools.
Australian Citizens with ability to obtain NV1 security clearance and meet defence requirements.

Responsibilities

Support development and automation of digital test, integration and verification environments.
Produce clear, technical artefacts (code, documentation and test plans) for cross-functional review.
Follow security and maintainability best practices and implement review feedback.
