Job summary

Australian Metal Recycling is seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor for our Dubbo yard to own the day-to-day operations and drive a safe, efficient operation within our seven-site network.

You will oversee the site team, process scrap material, manage transport, and build strong supplier relationships while ensuring compliance and accurate paperwork. This role offers autonomy and stability in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience running a site, depot or crew.
• Safety-focused with a track record of safe operations.
• Commercially minded with good judgement around buying and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading the site team.
• Overseeing receipt, sorting and processing of scrap metal.
• Coordinating transport and outbound loads.
• Buying scrap over the weighbridge and building supplier relationships.
• Ensuring compliance with seller ID, records and cashless payments.
• Handling delivery dockets, paperwork and record keeping.
• Driving safety on site and maintaining yard compliance.
