Job summary

Fortescue is seeking a Christmas Creek Mine Control Supervisor to lead the Integrated Control team from the HIVE, delivering the mine plan safely and efficiently using advanced MineStar and fleet management.

Reporting to the Mine Control Superintendent, you’ll guide operations with a strong focus on safety, performance, and stakeholder collaboration across mining, maintenance and technical services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Fleet Management Systems such as MineStar or equivalent at an advanced level.
• Strong proficiency in MineStar Command and production strategies for large-scale mining.
• Proven track record leading operational teams in safety‑critical environments.
• Strong decision‑making and prioritisation skills balancing safety, people and production.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across operational and technical teams.
• Committed to safety, discipline and continuous improvement; lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Integrated Control team with clear direction and feedback.
• Oversee safe operation of mine control systems; ensure fleet config supports mine plans.
• Optimise MineStar and autonomous fleet processes for safety, productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor data inputs/outputs ensuring reliable information and reporting.
• Collaborate with site mining, maintenance, AHS and technical services to resolve challenges.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements; foster high performance.
