Job summary

Toyota Material Handling Australia is looking for a Field Service Technician to service and repair Toyota forklifts and material handling equipment from our Cairns branch. You’ll be on the road delivering on-site diagnostics, breakdown support and preventative maintenance across customer sites.

This autonomous field role offers a stable brand, ongoing training and a supportive team, with competitive pay, overtime incentives and opportunities for annual pay increases.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified mechanic (automotive, plant, diesel or similar).
• Experience servicing or repairs; forklift or heavy equipment a bonus.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
• Field-based work attitude and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Based out of Cairns Branch; provide on-site servicing, diagnostics and repairs for Toyota forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and perform routine servicing to keep customers moving.
• Travel to customer sites; deliver high-quality service with minimal downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings with customers.
