We are seeking a motivated Technical Support & Service Technician to join our Sydney headquarters and become an integral part of our technical support team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical support, service or repair role.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to read technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Sales Team during customer enquiries and pre-sales discussions.
• Provide remote technical support to customers via phone, email and remote access.
• Assist customers with product operation, troubleshooting and best practices.
• Support authorised resellers with technical enquiries and product issues.
• Escalate complex technical cases to the manufacturer where required.
• Maintain professional communication with customers throughout the support process.
• Assemble and disassemble agricultural drones, robotics and associated equipment.
• Prepare customer orders for delivery, including system assembly, firmware updates, calibration and quality inspections.
• Configure new products prior to dispatch.
• Ensure products meet company quality standards before delivery.
• Diagnose technical faults across aircraft, controllers, batteries, chargers, payload systems and supporting equipment.
• Perform inspections, servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct system testing and commissioning.
• Analyse system data and technical information to identify root causes.
• Recommend repair solutions and replacement components.
• Prepare clear technical reports.
• Prepare repair quotations and service recommendations.
• Maintain accurate service records and internal documentation.
• Assist in developing technical documentation and support materials.
• Assist with product evaluation and testing.
• Support R&D activities and product validation.
• Provide technical feedback to engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of company products and after-sales support processes.
