Job summary

Access Automation is seeking an Automatic Door Service Technician to service premium automatic door systems across Melbourne. This road-based role operates from clients' sites, with a company vehicle, tools, phone and fuel card provided from day one.

You will work with a supportive field team, report to the Service Operations Manager, and perform maintenance, fault-finding, installation, and client coaching while keeping safety and data records up to date.

Qualifications

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding across mechanical and electrical systems.
Full Australian Driver's Licence is mandatory.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant technical, trade or field service experience.
Prior automatic door industry experience or formal trades is highly regarded.
Exceptional customer service and clear communication.
Full working rights in Australia required.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and service: perform scheduled preventative maintenance on automatic door systems.
Rapid response: diagnose and fix urgent on-site faults and repair safely.
Installation: commission new door systems and safety components.
Client engagement: advise clients on technical solutions and deliver great service.
Administration and safety: log service data and uphold safety standards.
