Job summary

Blacklocks (Part of Tony White Group) has operated in the Albury/Wodonga region for over 100 years with three automotive dealerships and is now recruiting experienced Automotive Technicians to join the team in Wodonga and Lavington.

Successful candidates will repair and maintain vehicles to manufacturer specifications, perform scheduled servicing, diagnose faults with strong diagnostic skills, and work well in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum as a qualified Motor Mechanic.
• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance in line with manufacturer requirements.
• Perform scheduled maintenance servicing.
• Complete repairs per repair orders within allocated times.
• Diagnose faults with strong diagnostic capabilities.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.

Job Description

Blacklocks (Part of Tony White Group) has been operating in Albury/Wodonga region for over 100 years with three large new/used automotive dealerships. They are currently looking to recruit experienced and qualified Automotive Technicians to join their team in Wodonga and Lavington. Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:

• Extensive experience in repairs and maintenance in line with the manufacturers’ requirements for all make and models
• The ability to perform scheduled maintenance servicing
• The capacity to service and repair vehicles as per the repair order with the allocated time
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Strong diagnostics capabilities

Skills and Abilities:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• A minimum of three years experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
• A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• The ability to work in a team environment
