Job summary

Jacob Toyota in Wodonga VIC is recruiting experienced Automotive Electricians to join their Service Department. You will work on a range of vehicles, performing auto electrical work, air-conditioning service and repairs, with guidance from senior technicians.

Requirements include at least 3 years’ experience, a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Extensive auto electrics experience required.
• Ability to perform starter motor and alternator changes.
• Service and repair of automotive air-conditioning both on and off site with limited supervision.
• Strong diagnostic skills and use of electrical safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform auto electrical work on vehicles.
• Service and repair automotive air-conditioning systems.

Job Description

Jacob Toyota (part of Jacob Group of Companies) is currently recruiting for experienced and qualified Automotive Electricians to join their Service Department in Wodonga VIC. Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:

• Extensive experience in auto electrics
• The ability to perform change starters and alt motors for most vehicles and machinery
• The capacity to service and repair vehicles auto air-conditioning both on and off site with limited or no supervision
• Strong diagnostic and electrical safety equipment

Skills & Attributes:

• At least 3 years’ experience as an automotive electrician
• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
• Ability to work in a team environment
