Job summary

Realinkage Australia Pty Ltd – Hornsby NSW is seeking a hands-on Automotive Technician for our Alexandria workshop. You will service and repair vehicles across Chery, GAC, Leapmotor and Zeekr models, following Australian industry standards and manufacturer procedures.

You will work with the Workshop Manager and Service Advisors to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, performing routine servicing, diagnostics, PDIs and warranty-related tasks in a well-equipped,

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Experience as Automotive Technician / Mechanic preferred.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Hybrid/EV experience is a plus; training provided.
• Experience with multiple vehicle brands advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles across Chery, GAC, Leapmotor and Zeekr models.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out inspections and pre-delivery checks (PDI).
• Complete job cards and service documentation accurately.
• Follow workplace health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workshop.
• Support warranty, repair and recall-related work as required.

This is a hands-on role based in our Alexandria workshop, responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles across Chery, GAC, Leapmotor and Zeekr models, following Australian industry standards and manufacturer procedures.

You will work closely with the Workshop Manager and Service Advisors to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults across multiple vehicle brands
• Carry out inspections and pre-delivery checks (PDI)
• Complete job cards and service documentation accurately
• Follow workplace health & safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Support warranty, repair, and recall-related work where required
• Relevant automotive trade qualification (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician / Mechanic preferred
• Ability to diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues
• Experience with multiple vehicle brands is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Hybrid / EV experience is an advantage, but not essential (training provided)
