Qualifications

• Recognised Automotive Technician qualification.
• Kia experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving and technical skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication, interpersonal and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to dealership standards.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently and accurately.
• Planning and prioritising jobs to maximise workshop efficiency.
• Ordering parts through the Parts and Accessories Department.
• Completing warranty repairs with correct tagging of parts.
• Documenting work performed and parts ordered.
• Maintaining high standards of safety and workshop presentation.
• Collaborating with the service team to deliver excellent customer experience.

About the role:

As a Kia Automotive Technician at Motorama Hillcrest, you'll play an important role in delivering quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance in line with repair orders and dealership standards
• Diagnosing and resolving vehicle faults efficiently and accurately
• Planning and prioritising jobs to maximise workshop efficiency
• Ordering required parts through the Parts and Accessories Department
• Completing warranty repairs and ensuring warranty parts are correctly tagged and stored
• Accurately completing all job documentation, including work performed and parts ordered
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and workshop presentation
• Working collaboratively with the wider service team to deliver an excellent customer experience

About you:

• A recognised qualification as an Automotive Technician
• Previous Kia experience is highly regarded but not essential
