Job summary

DMH Group is hiring a qualified Automotive Technician for their new Bridgestone South Ripley store in Ipswich, QLD. You will work on a wide variety of vehicles as part of a growing automotive group, taking pride in quality workmanship and safety while developing skills.

This role offers ongoing training through the DMH Excellence Academy, support to obtain additional licenses and certificates, and a focus on career progression within a growing network of stores.

Qualifications

• Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with relevant trade experience.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and adherence to processes.
• Strong safety focus for team and customers.
• Current QLD Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Logbook and general servicing.
• Mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
• Brake, suspension and steering repairs.
• Vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Fault finding.
• Roadworthy inspections once qualified.
• Air-conditioning diagnosis and repairs once licensed.

The opportunity is here to be the Automotive Technician at the NEW Bridgestone South Ripley store.

DMH Group is looking to grow their team by adding a qualified Automotive Technician to our 12th store.

We’re not just looking for someone who can turn spanners. We’re looking for a technician who takes pride in their work, backs their team and wants to keep developing their skills and qualifications while growing a new store.

About the role

You’ll be working on a wide variety of vehicles as part of a growing automotive group.

• Current QLD Drivers Licence
• Willing to learn and continue developingUnderstands the importance of looking after the customer as well as their vehicle
