Job summary

PrixCar Services is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our PDI team. You will inspect, diagnose, and validate vehicle readiness to customer and regulatory requirements, and perform pre-delivery checks on brand new vehicles.

You will work in a modern workshop with access to the latest tools, handle light servicing, fit outs, and quality checks, and contribute to a collaborative, safety-focused environment while developing your skills within the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Automotive trade qualification required.
• Experience in automotive trade and quality systems.
• Valid manual driver’s licence.
• Experience with diagnostic and accessory fitment tasks.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical and electrical checks, adjustments and repairs as required.
• Perform Pre-Delivery inspections in line with set instructions and standards.
• Install accessories and ensure all vehicle features function correctly.
• Carry out light servicing and repairs on brand new vehicles.
• Fit out/customisation of vehicles as per plan or instruction.
• Safely manoeuvre vehicles around the workshop and compound.
• Carry out quality checks and take responsibility for workmanship.

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join us within our PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) team. This role's function is to inspect and validate the suitability/compliance of Vehicles to Customer and Legislative requirements.

What you will do:

• Carrying out mechanical and electrical checks, adjustments and repairs as required
• Pre-Delivery tasks/ inspections in accordance with set instructions/ standards
• Installing accessories and ensuring all vehicle features are functioning correctly
• Light servicing and repairs of brand new vehicles
• Fit out (Customisation) of Vehicles as per plan and/or instructed
• Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
• Perform required quality checks and be accountable for the workmanship of performed work

What you will bring:

• Automotive Trade Qualified
• Previous experience in Automotive Trade and Quality Systems
• Manual Drivers licence
• General automotive diagnostic and automotive accessory fitment experience
• Excellent mechanical and electrical diagnostic abilities
