Job summary

Neale Goad Repco Service Centre in Ballarat is seeking an Automotive Technician/Motor Mechanic or a 3rd/4th year apprentice. You will perform servicing, repairs, fault diagnosis and roadworthiness checks across a diverse vehicle range, including vintage and classic cars.

Join a local, family‑owned workshop known for quality workmanship and customer relationships. You will work independently or in a team, with focus on safety, reliability and skilled craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Qualified Automotive Technician, Motor Mechanic or 3rd/4th year apprentice.
• LVT qualification or willingness to obtain it when eligible.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills for your experience level.
• Attention to detail and pride in your work; reliable attitude and teamwork.
• Current driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis across a variety of vehicles.
• Roadworthy inspections (roadworthies).
• Some work on vintage, classic and muscle cars.
• Deliver quality workmanship.
• Keep customers' vehicles safe and reliable.

• Attention to detail and pride in your workA reliable, positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A current driver's license
