Job summary

Kangaroo Bus Lines is seeking a qualified automotive spray painter to support the in-house Paint & Panel Workshop at the Burpengary Depot. You will prepare and spray paint our fleet of coaches and buses, ensuring a high standard of finish, while maintaining a clean and safe workshop.

The role requires hands-on work with strong preparation and finishing skills, attention to detail and reliability. HR & Forklift Licence is desirable.

• Previous spray-painting experience is essential (experience in spray painting heavy vehicles, trucks, trailers or machinery is highly regarded)

Kangaroo Bus Lines (KBL) is a proudly family-owned and operated business with over 47 years of experience in the transport industry. With more than 160 buses and coaches and depots across South East Queensland, we continue to grow and invest in our people, facilities and fleet.

We are currently seeking a qualified and reliable automotive spray painter to join our in-house Paint & Panel Workshop at our Burpengary Depot.

This is a workshop-based role in supporting the repair, restoration and ongoing upkeep of our KBL Coach and Bus fleet.

About the Role

You will be responsible for preparing and spray painting our fleet of coaches and buses, ensuring all work meets a high standard of finish.

• Surface preparation including sanding, filling and masking


• Spray painting, priming and finishing


• Inspecting completed work and correcting any imperfections


• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop


• Managing and logging job completions on in-house computer systems

About You
