Job summary

Motoka is seeking a dedicated Stock & Inventory Officer to join our Sydney-based team. The role focuses on managing material and stocked product inventory, maintaining stock locations and profiles, and handling trade customer queries with a strong customer-service focus.

You will perform regular stock takes, ensure accuracy, and implement controls to minimise overstocks and obsolete stock, while ensuring stock is allocated to jobs and reports highlight any discrepancies for resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience managing material and stocked product inventory.
• Strong customer service and retention skills.
• Understanding of the aftermarket automotive market is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s inventory, stock profiles and locations.
• Handle automotive parts queries from trade customers and provide high level customer service.
• Perform cycle counts and ensure stock accuracy; minimise overstocks and obsolete stock.
• Ensure incoming product is receipted and stocked per procedures; run planned stock takes.
• Produce daily stock reports and investigate discrepancies; manage control measures.
