Job summary

Carma in Sydney is hiring an Automotive Fitter to join our St Peters workshop. You’ll prep vehicles, remove and reassemble panels, and ensure every car meets Carma’s high standards before they roll out to customers.

You'll keep our work orders accurate, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with painters to maintain smooth workflows. A minimum of 1 year in automotive fitting and a NSW driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in automotive fitting or panel beating.
• Able to handle a busy, dynamic workshop with changing priorities.
• Detail-oriented and proud of the quality of your work.
• Skilled at meeting deadlines.
• Clean NSW driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepping vehicles for repairs by removing and disassembling panels and parts.
• Reassembling and refitting vehicles post-repair to road-ready condition.
• Updating work orders and job details in the internal system.
• Checking vehicle functionality and post-repair quality standards.
• Collaborating with painters to ensure smooth workflows and timelines.
• Problem-solving and suggesting process improvements.

We’re on the hunt for a skilled Automotive Fitter to join our team at Carma! In this role, you’ll handle everything from prepping and reassembling vehicles to ensuring every car meets our high standards. What you'll be doing?

• Prepping vehicles for repairs by removing and disassembling panels and parts.
• Reassembling and refitting vehicles post-repair, ensuring they’re road-ready and Carma-approved.
• Keeping our internal system up to date with work orders and job details—accuracy is key!
• Checking vehicle functionality and quality standards post-repair.
• Collaborating with the team, especially painters, to ensure smooth workflows and accurate timelines.
• Solving problems on the go and suggesting ways to improve our processes.

In this role you’ll be based in our St Peters, Sydney site, with room for parking and train/ bus stops nearby.
