Job summary

Bosch Australia is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join the Automotive Australia Research Centre (AARC) in Anglesea, Victoria. You will work closely with engineers on advanced vehicle development programs, supporting testing, prototypes, investigations and day-to-day operations of a specialist automotive facility.

The role requires practical, independent work with strong mechanical and electrical expertise, a safety‑minded approach and the ability to adapt to fast-paced projects.

Qualifications

• Experienced Automotive Technician with hands-on vehicle development and testing.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems in development/test environments.
• Proven workshop, maintenance and fault-finding capability.
• Fabrication and welding; use of basic shop machinery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle technical support for development and Application activities.
• Maintain and service development vehicles, test equipment and instrumentation.
• Support engineers with vehicle development, testing and validation.
• De-instrument vehicles for testing and application programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across vehicle systems.
• Remove, replace and modify electrical modules and braking systems.
