Bosch Australia invites an experienced Automotive Technician to join the Automotive Australia Research Centre (AARC) in Anglesea, Victoria. The role focuses on hands-on vehicle development, testing, and supporting engineers with development programs.

You will work independently within a specialist automotive engineering facility, leveraging strong mechanical and electrical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues and maintain equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experienced Automotive Technician with strong mechanical and electrical expertise.
• Practical, hands-on approach to vehicle development and testing.
• Proven workshop, maintenance and fault-finding capability.
• Fabrication and welding skills; use of workshop machinery is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle technical support for development and application activities.
• Prepare, maintain and service development vehicles and test equipment.
• Support engineers with vehicle development, testing and validation.
• Prepare and de-instrument vehicles for testing and application programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across vehicle systems.
