Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Auto Electrician or equivalent is essential.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive electrical work.
• Valid driver's license and knowledge of safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic equipment/software.
• Repair or replace wiring harnesses, connectors, switches and relays.
• Install new electrical components and accessories in vehicles.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on vehicle electronics.
• Test repaired components to ensure proper function.
• Provide accurate completion time estimates and stay updated on tech advances.

About the Role

As an Automotive Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems within our vehicles. Yourexpertisewill ensure the smooth functioning of electrical components, ranging from lighting systems to advanced vehicle control systems. You will work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and technicalproficiencyare paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic equipment/software.
• Repair or replace faulty wiring harnesses, connectors, switches, relays, etc.
• Install new electrical components such as audio systems, lightingaccessoriesor security systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on vehicle electronics.
• Test repaired/replaced components to ensure proper functioning.
• Provideaccuratetime estimates for completion of tasks.
• Keepup-to-datewith advancements in automotive technology/electrical systems.

About You

Tobe successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
• Proficiencyin diagnosing and troubleshooting complex electrical problems.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Experience with installing aftermarket electronic accessories.
• Familiarity with using diagnostic equipment/software.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong communicationskills to effectively communicate with customers and team members.

Qualifications and Training

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician or equivalent experience isessential.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Auto Electrician in the automotive industry.
• Valid driver's license isrequired.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Additionalcertifications or training in automotive electronics will beadvantageous.
