Job summary

Byrnecut Australia Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our South Australian operations. You will maintain electrical systems across a diverse underground fleet, performing diagnostics, fault finding, repairs and installations to maximise reliability and safe operation.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology is required.
• A.C Licence is required or willingness to obtain one.
• Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence is required.

Be part of a team that's A CUT ABOVE. Byrnecut is a leading global underground mining contractor, employing more than 6,000 people and operating a specialised fleet of underground mining equipment across Australia and internationally.

We are currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our South Australian operations. Working across a diverse underground mining fleet, you'll be responsible for electrical maintenance, diagnostics, fault finding, repairs and installations, helping to maximise equipment reliability, availability and safe operation while supporting production across our sites.

What You'll Bring

Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology (Australian recognised)

Hold an A.C Licence, or be willing to obtain one

Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence

Mobile mining equipment experience (underground highly regarded)

Ability to successfully complete a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening

Willingness to obtain or provide a current National Police Clearance

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Safety-focused with a team-oriented mindset
