AGA are seeking a hardworking and mechanically minded Light Vehicle Apprentice to join a fast-paced service department located in Essendon. You will gain completion of you certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical while working a fulltime, Monday to Friday roster.

This position is open to all apprentices in all year levels.

This role will see the successful applicant learning and developing within a passionate family-owned business that is a dedicated European Vehicle Specialist. Operating from a standalone premises, they are the largest operation in Australia that pride themselves on upholding leading-edge performance.

You will learn hands on with senior service technicians and be provided with the skills and experience to excel within the Automotive industry.

What you will be doing

• Service and repair motor vehicles
• Learn all aspects of being a motor mechanic
• Participate in regular training and development to enhance your knowledge and skills
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Complete other tasks as directed

What we are looking for

• Mechanically minded and passionate about working within the industry long term
• Reliability, punctuality and hardworking
• Team players with great communication skills
• Completion of a Cert II in Automotive Technology desirable
• Hold a valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Has the ability to confidently use hand tools
• Is an Australian citizen/and or Permanent Resident
