Job summary

NHVR is seeking an Automation Tester to join its Digital Enablement team in Brisbane. The role focuses on designing and implementing automated tests for mobile and web apps, translating user stories into effective test scenarios, and building robust CI/CD integrated test suites.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automation testing, experience with Swift (Xcode), Selenium and JMeter, and a degree in computer science or software engineering.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Automation Test role for at least 5 years in a medium to large organisation.
• University degree in computer science or software engineering or possesses technical certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design test scenarios balancing effort against risk using positive and negative test cases.
• Create test scripts for Swift (Xcode) and Selenium.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites to improve efficiency and coverage and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Create non-functional performance test scripts using JMeter.
• Ensure traceability between user story acceptance criteria, test scenarios, scripts and results.
• Ensure comprehensive testing prior to release including manual testing when required.
• Evaluate and refactor automation tests and add new tests.
• Contribute to technical documents and handbooks to represent application design and code.
• Stay updated on new technologies to improve processes.
