Job summary

Intrax Consulting Group is seeking an Automation Lead to accelerate enterprise-wide improvements by embedding smarter ways of working across the business. You will design, deliver, embed and scale automation, systems and AI-enabled tooling to drive measurable outcomes.

This role reports to the COO and sits outside IT, impacting operations, technology and commercial priorities. You will own the automation delivery lifecycle—from problem definition through stabilisation and handover—while

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering transformation, automation or operational improvement at scale.
• Strong business analysis capability—structuring ambiguity into clear, actionable problems.
• High technical literacy across systems, integrations, data and AI-enabled tools.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across operations and technology.
• Strong commercial judgement balancing speed, risk, cost and value.
• A results-driven mindset, focused on outcomes, adoption and measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and prioritise a pipeline of improvement initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
• Own automation delivery end-to-end—from problem definition to handover.
• Translate complex operational challenges into clear requirements and delivery plans.
• Evaluate, integrate, and optimise ERP and core platforms with automation/AI tooling.
• Drive adoption and behavioural change so solutions are embedded in day-to-day operations.
• Partner with leaders across four divisions and five states to simplify technical concepts into practical actions.
